Ok, you need a person to pump the clutch pedal for you to bleed your clutch. You can use DOT 3, 4 or 5 brake fluid for your clutch. First, find the rubber nipple near by the location of HICAS; and it is connected with a metal tube. Remove the nipple and you will see the 8mm (or 10mm) nut. (1) Have him pump the clutch pedal 5-6 times and then hold it there. (2) You then loose the nut to bleed the fluid and then tight it up. You want to tight up the nut before loosing all the pressure (before the pressure drains out the fluid to prevent air getting in). (3) It's important that you keep TOPPIHNG OFF the clutch fluid in the master clutch cylinder to prevent from sucking air in! You will usually need to refill after 3 bleeds. (4) Repeat the procedures till you feel about right.(5) At last, pump the clutch 5-6 times again and hold it. (6) there is also a nipple at the slave clutch cylinder (under your tranny). Loose the nut to release the pressure and tight it up just like (2). Repeat this 2-3 times and then you are set. Technically, to bleed the clutch COMPLETELY will take about 40 min to an hour :-) Good luck and have fun! ** DON'T SPILL the clutch fluid (brake fluid) on the paint of your Z as it will harm the paint!
